The Story Behind the Human Who Thinks it’s Cool to Care.
Hi and welcome.
I’m Maggie.
I’m a nonprofit executive, strategist and consultant.
My work sits at the intersection of systems change and human care. I support organizations navigating complexity, political pressure, and limited resources, while also holding space for the people doing the work.
I currently serve as Executive Director of Brain Injury Alliance and Exposed Wildlife Conservancy, leading province-wide and national initiatives focused on evidence-based advocacy, governance, and public education.
Alongside these roles, I work through LUMADU Management, the small, values-led practice I operate under.
LUMADU supports a limited number of nonprofit and mission-driven organizations through executive leadership, strategic advisory, governance support, and practical management. This work is intentionally selective, relationship-based, and grounded in long-term thinking rather than quick fixes.
LUMADU also holds a small amount of property management work, which remains minimal and low-profile.
